With SEOSupporter you can easily follow your Google rankings, set up custom reports when you fall or rise in the SERP’s and follow your progress from backlinking to PR changes. I find this the easiest way to keep track of my SEO progress with my websites; and it is very handy when you have a bunch of Sniper sites.

Easy Project Overview

My favorite thing about SEOSupporter (besides that it is a free tool) is the userfriendly interface. It is very easy to get used to, it looks really nice and it gives you a really nice overview over all of your sites. At the dashboard you get a quick overview over all of your sites latest progress; PageRank, Backlinks, Pages Indexed and Alexa ranking. The only thing that is a bit annoying, is the fact that Pages Indexed is not really working. All of my sites are indexed (and ranking) in Google, but SEOSupporter shows 0 indexed pages for most of them. A site search on Google will also show they are indexed, so I’m not completely sure how this function works.

Keyword Ranking and Backlink Progress

The two main features for following your site, is definitely the Keyword Tracking and Backlink overview. If you are doing linkbuilding on of your sites, you can easily follow your progress day by day, and even see how your site has progressed in the past half year.

With the Keyword Monitoring you can also track your competitors ranking on your keywords, a good thing if you are in a competetive niche, and you just want to get that number 1 ranking. Keep track of what your competitors are doing, how many backlinks they have – you might even be able to spot an aggressive linkbuilding attempt of one of your competitors, and (if you act in time) keep your position.

Completely Free SEO Tool

SEOSupporter is currently completely free. It is still in BETA, but the system works (really well), and there is no doubt that if you have a website, and are doing some SEO, you should use this tool. According to the person behind, there will be a paid version of the services at some point, but I am sure that there will always be a free version of the system. So what are you waiting for? Jump over to SEOSupporter and sign up for your own account now!

This is the big question in ShoeMoney’s latest contest, where he offers a trip to Affiliate Summit in Las Vegas, and this post is my answer on his contest.

My 3 Reasons For Going to Affiliate Summit in Las Vegas

I am sure that everyone, beginner or experienced with Affiliate marketing (or maybe just starting, like me), can come up with a few reasons to go to the Affiliate Summit in Las Vegas, going off January 17-19. Personally I got 3 reasons ready right here, and who said you can’t mix business with pleasure? If I end up going to Affiliate Summit, this will be exactly the plan.

Reason 1: Visiting my better half
Today my better half is leaving for Las Vegas (or near, a place called Bear Mountain Ski Resort) for almost 3 months, and we now face the dreadful long-distance relationship problems. I’m sure most people can agree that this sucks, so getting a chance to visit her and relax with some Snowboarding would be no less than awesome!

Reason 2: Working more and more with Affiliate Marketing
If you have followed my blog the last couple of months, you probably know that I started my Google Sniper Project back in the end of October, and even though I’d like to focus on some AdSense sniping too now, most of my sites are affiliate sites and I am getting some really nice experiences. This is a field I’d like to work a lot more with, and integrate as part of my business here in Peru.

Reason 3: Internet Marketing is my business, and there is lots to learn from Affiliate Marketers
I am living here in Peru to start my business, and it is going quite well. I believe in my project, my product and that the market is ready, but there is still many major challenges to overcome. Even though I am selling my own product, I still believe I can get learn a lot from Affiliate Marketers, as in basic, its just about Internet Marketing.

The Big Answer: Yes – I’m a Player!

The answer to the big question; hell yea, I’m a player. I would put it all down on 1 hand of BlackJack, hopefully following my recently luck in the Casinos here in Lima, where they usually end up paying me to get drunk. I never win a lot in Casinos, but I usually walk away with a little more or the same money I came with – and pretty drunk (free whisky while playing BlackJack – why not?).

“You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.” – Wayne Gretzky

What would you do? Are you a player or a saver? Feel free to post it in the comments.

This past week I haven’t really worked at all on my sniper sites. I am working hard to finishing up evisitcard, so I can get the system translated to Spanish. I still have 7 domains I bought last week, that I want to create adsense snipers on and test how good I can rank them, but right now I just have to put some focus on my company.

I did see an improvement in hops both for Clickbank and Amazon, and I made a small Amazon sale. Somebody who clicked on my link decided to buy some CD, but this isn’t really anything to talk about as I only earned $0,56 on that.

As you can see, I have diveded the sites into CB Snipers and AdSense sites. Generally I am dissappointed about the whole Clickbank sniper concept, but I havent given completely up on these sites. When time comes, I’d like to work som my on backlinking for them, and maybe add some UAW articles to generate backlinks over time. Site #14 just wont rank for the keyword, but I havent really done any linkbuilding – not even a Ezine yet, but it is indexed, so maybe it was just bad keyword research. Site #13 is more of a long term project, and I’d like to add some 20-25 articles to it in december and do some link building, more as a test to see if I can actually get it to a good position on Page 1 in the SERP. It is more of a SEO test project.

But if I don’t get more time to work on my sniper sites, I might just keep the posts about them to 1 per month. Instead I’ll clean up my blog (starting with a new WP Theme as you can see now), sort out the categories and blog more about Small Business Websites, stuff I do in my own business at the moment and ofcourse there might be some posts about living in Miraflores, Peru.

This week I havent done so much work on my sniper sites, but made some research and got some new ideas. So far I have experience that the Clickbank products really have a low conversion rate. I havent sold a singe Clickbank product yet, even though I’m getting more and more hops. About 30% of the visitors on the sniper sites click on the affiliate links – thats 30% CTR, which is pretty amazing, but doesnt help me at all, if people doesnt buy the products.

Now Making Adsense Sniper Sites

I tried doing some research and rethinking of my project this weekend, as I took a travel to La Paz and got a lot of time to relax, do some work and think about my strategy. With the low CTR on clickbank, I figured out that it is better to go for CPC (Google Adsense) instead of Affiliate Marketing with CPA. Currently I am testing a few of the sniper sites with putting Adsense on it, and setting them to be viewed around 400 times. This will give me an idea of the CTR in those niches, and see if its more profitable to turn them into Adsense Snipers. Besides that I made some new Keyword Research, and registred 9 new domains for Adsense Sniper sites. One of these sites will be an authority site, as I like the subject and would like to add some more articles on the site. I’ll try to create 5 articles per week for the site, and see how it will go.

Inspired by Mike Iser, who is truly a site-building machine with over 70 Adsense Sniper sites, I will try to create 1 new Adsense Sniper every day in this week, and see how that goes. Next week I’ll have to decide if I want to spend some time creating backlinks with Unique Article Wizard (UAW) and EzineArticles, and maybe try some other techniques, or if I want to keep on pumping out Adsense Sniper Sites. I also decided to write atleast 1 EzineArticle for each site, with a link to the main site and one of the posts. I hope this will give me a good positive effect on the rankings for the sites.

This week brought a few suprises, as my Site #2, which generated most of my hops, got Google Sandboxed or something like that. Thursday 12/11-09 the site just disappeared from the search rankings – it is still indexed in Google if you make a site:domain search, but it doesnt show up in the SERPs and get no visits from Google.

12 of 12 done

The good news this week, is that I got the last 2 sites up and all 12 sniper sites are now indexed. As I dont got much time to work on my sniper sites this week, I will take a break creating new sites and finding new niches, and instead focus on making all the sites show up in the search results, get good rankings in Google and test what works and doesnt work.

The good thing is that the 6 new keywords I found (Site #7-12) seems to be doing really great in Google on the choosen term, without any form of work done with them. I only submitted them to the different bookmarking sites to get the indexed, and didnt do anything else. My next step over the next couple of weeks, is to submit at least 1 UAW article and 1-2 EzineArticles for each site. Some of them are already generating good traffic, but no sales yet, so I can only imagine that creating some more backlinks and testing with more content and affiliate link placement will help me to make my first CB sale.

Amazon Is In The Lead

I made another sale of $4.80 on Amazon this week, which makes Amazon the only thing I am actually selling right now. There can be different explanations for this, some of them is that the site is doing pretty well in Google, getting quite a bit of traffic – but the most likely is, that the site is pinpoint to buying customers in the right season. It is a micro-niche under Christmas, so I actually dont expect to sell anything the rest of the year. But each Christmas there is a huge market potential for this, so when the season is over this year, the domain and site can age for the next year, and hopefully make even more income next year.
Giving my success with Amazon, even though it is not a lot of money so far, I am really tempted to make a few other niche sites directly related to niche-categories on Amazon, and see if I can duplicate this process. I’d like to find a niche with much more expensive products as the percentage from Amazon is so low.

If you have any questions, feedback or good ideas, maybe something you would like me to test, please feel free to leave a comment here. I’d also like to hear about other peoples experience with Google Sniper sites and maybe also with Google AdSense Sniper sites, as I’d like to try some AdSense sniping soon.

All right, time for a third update on my Google Sniper Project. I didn’t get as much done last week as I wanted, and I have another project I need to focus on for some time now, which means that I will not get as much time the next couple of weeks for creating new sniper sites. I bought 6 new domains last week, but only got 4 of the new sniper sites up, so this week I just have to get 2 more up. I have learned a few new things about both getting them indexed and ranked this week though.

My first sale
I made my first sale this week, though it is kind of disappointing so far. I would have expected have made at least a few sales on Clickbank so far, but nothing there yet, even though I’m starting to get a decent number of hops. Instead I got my first sale from Amazon, even though I only have 1 small sniper sites that targets Amazon. The referral is pretty low, so it only earned my $3.20 USD, but given the amount of clicks on my Amazon referral links from the site were only 37, that gives me a conversion rate of 2.70% – not bad from linking to Amazon products. So this little sniper site will receive a bit more of attention and link building this week, to make it rank better and hopefully it can generate a few sales per week. With 59 unique visitors, about 62% clicked on the referral links. 62% is a pretty awesome conversion rate for a sniper site, so if I can just get more traffic to the site, hopefully it will make more sales on Amazon.

Want Linkjuice? Go EzineArticles
The most important thing I learned last week was the power of EzineArticles. I honestly didn’t think it would be that important to submit articles to this directory, and I thought UAW would pretty much do the job. But boy, does Google LOVE EzineArticles – Site #6 jumped extremely high in rankings very fast, after I posted an article on EzineArticles. And even though Site #1 still doesn’t rank on the main keyword (might have select a pretty bad keyword, but hey – was my first sniper site ), the site is starting to get a lot more traffic on other long tail keywords, and is actually 3-10 hops per day. This also started after I made the submission to EzineArticles – so this directory really makes a difference when making sniper sites.
Because of this, I will make at least 1 article and post it on EzineArticles for each sniper site this week. Hopefully they will all get approved latest next week, and I will quickly start seeing some results in the rankings.

That was it from this week, if you have any suggestions or questions to my project, please leave a comment or make sure you contact me. Either way, have a great day.

As I announced last week, I will be making weekly posts with updates from my new Affiliate Marketing project – “The Google Sniper Experience”. Like I wrote last week, this project is very interesting and I still have quite high hopes for it. I used all of last week to try to focus on my current sniper sites, to see which ones works and are getting rankings and traffic from Google, to see what works best.

I also started submitting articles to UAW (Unique Article Wizard) to test how much effect this have to the sites ranking. So far I haven’t been able to see results from this, though I expect it to give good results on a long term strategy. It seems like a nice way to get long-term backlinks, but it doesn’t give you a lot of fast backlinks. So far, none of my articles have shown up in the backlinks search. The backlinks count is pretty high because I posted some comments on DoFollow blogs and blogs with Top Commenters, which gives a lot of backlinks.

I have only built 6 sites so far, but only a few of them is starting to get decent traffic. Site #2 is doing really well, and getting a lot of traffic on long tail keywords, as well as a bit traffic on the main keyword. Site #3 is pretty interesting because I’m not promoting a Clickbank product, but choose to play a bit with Amazon referral. The site is starting to receive a bit of traffic from Google on long-tail searches, and has a pretty amazing CTR (Click-Through Rate) with 11 clicks from just 25 unique visitors. No sales yet though, but I am hoping Amazon keep their tracking cookies for a while, so there might be a chance of getting revenue next time the visitor buys something from Amazon. The referral rate is pretty low though, at just 4% – but the more items you sell from Amazon, the higher it will get (up to 8%). I will probably try to add a few more sniper sites to Amazon products and see how it goes, but I’m not sure if this is worth it. Probably depends on the niche that you focus on, and what the costumers buy.

I have also added the number of hops I got last week. There is quite a big difference on the new and the old Clickbank analytics, so I’m not sure which one is most correct. To confirm these results however, I coded my own little tracking-system, so every time someone clicks on my Clickbank affiliate links, it saves it in my database. I started tracking day-by-day clicks today, and will try to compare these results with the ones from Clickbank analytics, to see if there is a difference. Also the hop statistic from last week is a bit affected by testing some of the links, but should be no more than 10-12 hops.

However, after reading the new EBook “Google Sniper”, I decided to start focusing on Affiliate Marketing using the Google Sniper method. I have added the new category Affiliate Marketing to my blog, and will try to post updates each week with my progress of this project.

So what is Google Sniper? Well, basically it’s a method to create sites made for special keywords on Google, get them ranked in the top of the search result. The goal for these sites is to presell a product, and send the traffic you get with potential buyers, to a sales page for a product. All in all, there is not much new in this method, but what really got me inspired, is the way George Brown (the author of Google Sniper) wrote the guide and made it step by step. This might seem to be just another of those “get-rich-quick”-schemes that you find all over the internet, but after reading some reviews about the guide and the methods used, I decided to take a go at it.

I started last week with creating some sites and actually already got them indexed, but I still need to do some work on tweaking them, and hopefully soon they will jump in rankings and bring me more traffic – and eventually some sales. I have to admit, that so far I haven’t made one single sale, but it is all a matter of time and getting the sites ranked. I’m just working in one niche right now, but I want to find a few more niches this week, and create a couple of more sites.

To get more backlinks to the sites, and get them ranking faster, I decided to give a go on Unique Article Wizard, where I have so far written 2 articles waiting for distribution, and I will write one article for each site to test this. But more about UAW and my results in a later post. For now I will give the first status update on my sniper sites.
